This documentary on Renée Richards, transgender tennis star of  the 1970s, was directed by Eric Drath (director of the Emmy-winning Assault in the Ring in 2009). This film is being presented as part of ESPN's '30 for 30' documentary series, featuring original films from such directors as Barry Levinson, Spike Lee, Spike Jonze, Albert Maysles, and Barbara Kopple. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 21st, and airs on ESPN in 2012.
